The present invention provides a sealing assembly, which includes a spacer with a seal mounted around the outer periphery, which is installed in the middle of two half wheels and acts as an air-tight seal. Spacer washers accurately position the seals in place on the half wheels, allowing wheel assembly, tyre inflation, and air-tight seals. The seal eliminates the deficiency of existing technology, i.e. gas leakage due to misalignment of the seal. Due to the integrity of the sealing assembly of the present invention, the wheels can be assembled in the field. The invention also employs a compression type lip locking device, which does not require special mounting tools for assembling wheels.
